City Service Corps

NYC Service launched City Service Corps, an innovative AmeriCorps program, in the fall of 2015. The program aims to at address some of the City’s greatest challenges by tapping into the idealism and energy of New Yorkers. City Service Corps members serve full time for 10 months at a City agency or community-based organization (CBO) partner helping to solve some of our City's greatest challenges through direct services and program capacity building. This experience provides City Service Corps Members with valuable professional development and builds a corps of civic leaders who will continue to tackle the City’s challenges beyond their service year.
