NYC Cool Roofs

Con Edison's "Power of Giving" volunteer corps embodies the spirit of volunteerism by giving time and expertise, and demonstrating a desire to make a difference. We are proud to be a lead sponsor of NYC Cool Roofs. NYC Cool Roofs is a unique partnership that spotlights Con Edison and the city's mutual goals of energy efficiency and community participation. In 2010, our employee volunteers applied cool roofs to local YMCAs across the city to help cut energy costs. By working together with NYC Service and the YMCA of Greater New York we are helping to build strong, sustainable communities. We look forward to continuing our partnership in 2011.
