Volunteer opportunity description

If you are 65+ and enjoy spending time with teens, join DOROT this summer for intergenerational workshops in storytelling, comedy improv, current events, upcycled art, and more – all from the safety of your own home.  Each summer we welcome dozens of high school students through our award-winning DOROT Summer Teen Internship Program.  Through their work with DOROT, teen interns learn the importance of community service and volunteerism by making a difference in the lives of others.  DOROT’s intergenerational programs are an enjoyable way to get to know these remarkable young people, share your wisdom and have fun!    Summer program begins June 22nd.

This summer, due to the COVID-19 pandemic our summer intergenerational programming will operate virtually (online).

Familiarity with Zoom and access to a computer, phone or tablet with a working camera is required. Slots are limited and will be filled on a first-come first-served basis.

Orientations are required and will occur June 2nd through June 9th.
