The Poll Site Language Assistance Program provides interpretation services at select poll sites in the following languages: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Haitian-Creole, Italian, Korean, Polish, Russian, Urdu, and Yiddish.  Additional volunteer opportunities may include participating in virtual days of action prior to election cycles, which include active phone banking and targeted community canvassing to inform New Yorkers of multilingual resources that are available.

Volunteers must be 18 years of age to participate, are committed to bringing awareness of voting rights and access to interpretaion and language access services, and are culturally responsive to the needs of the communities served.
