Pick up fresh produce for our community!

POTS is a non-profit social services agency that nourishes the basic needs and hungers of all who come to our door. We provide showers, haircuts, medical and dental clinic, food pantry, case management, workforce development, rent assistance, and so much more to support our community. For the past few years, POTS has had a great partnership with the Sisters Hill Farm at Mount St Vincent (https://sistershillfarm.org/our-csa-2). The Sisters Hill Farm is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), a farming model centered around community. Every Tuesday, a POTS community member picks up our share of produce at 4pm, and then delivers it to POTS before we close at 4:45pm. This ensures fresh produce for those who are food insecure in our food pantry program, and also encourages community partnership, love, and growth.
 
Would you happen to be available to be a volunteer driver on Tuesdays at 4pm? We are looking for 2 drivers to rotate every Tuesday for at least 3 months (if not longer). If interested, please contact Stephanie at scaban@potsbronx.org. Thank you!
