Services Overview Currently, UCP/NYC provides a continuum of services to over 10,000 New York City residents with disabilities and their families annually. These services are offered by a dedicated and trained staff of 1,600 individuals, including many employees who themselves have cerebral palsy or other disabilities.
UCP/NYC's specific services include: early intervention and preschool education evaluation services Early Childhood Development Center day care and Universal Pre-K school age education adult day programs, including day habilitation and day treatment vocational (sheltered workshop) and supported employment programs after school and weekend recreation programs summer day camp assistive technology resources health care, including medical, rehabilitative, dental, audiology and augmentative communication residential programs ranging from community residences to supported apartments to independent living family support services, including service coordination, family reimbursement, recreation, after school, overnight respite, and housing and accessibility assistance.
