Description & History

Bellerose Rescue was originally founded as The Queens Village-Hollis-Bellerose Volunteer Ambulance Corps in 1972 due to a lack of Emergency Medical Service providers in it's primary response area.

Although the subsequent development and growth of the NYC-911 System has largely fulfilled the need for Emergency Medical Service agencies in new York City; Bellerose Rescue continues to look for opportunities where it can expand, develop, and support the emergency response and health care needs of the communities that it serves.
