Types of Positions
Community Outreach: Engage communities directly by running workshops, providing resources, building partnerships, and creating marketing materials to expand program reach.
Volunteer Management: Mobilize everyday New Yorkers by recruiting, training, and leading the dedicated volunteers who power NYC’s essential initiatives.
Program Development: Strengthen communities behind-the-scenes by collecting data, conducting research, creating curriculum, and optimizing operational systems.

Eligibility
Before submitting your application, make sure you meet all the eligibility requirements below. If accepted into the program, you'll need to share documents confirming the following before being officially placed at a host site.
To serve in NYC Civic Corps, you must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Have received your high school diploma (or equivalent) by program start
- Be a U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident
- Consent to and pass a National Service Criminal History Check
- Be available to serve full-time (35 hours per week) for the duration of the program
