About Youth Action 50
Youth Action 50 (YA50) is a dynamic leadership initiative designed to empower the next generation of changemakers and young civic leaders. YA50 recognizes the critical role young people play in driving innovative solutions and social progress. The program brings together 50 youth groups from diverse backgrounds to participate in transformative expeirences that blend education, skill building, hands-on advocacy, and access to experts via partnerships.

Eligibility Criteria
- Be between 14-21 years old
- Join one of the 50 groups in the Youth Action 50 Cohort
- Meet the eligibility requirements of the specific group, if applicable
- Commit to the expectations of the group and its project
Benefits
- Join a group of like-minded youth who want to create impact on their community
- Learn from City Agencies about their work
- Implement a solution-oriented project that targets a community problem that you care deeply about
Application Timeline - Apply by July 17th
Applications for 2026-2027 Youth Action 50 cohort are currently open. We encourage organizations interested in becoming a YA50 Host Site to submit their application by July 17th.
