Some tasks include building raised bed frames and a 48 ft long raised garden bed, and constructing two arch trellises. If there’s time, we’ll also plant some gooseberries, figs, currants, blueberries, and strawberries. This design will increase the currently cultivated square footage from 128 sq ft to 802 sq ft, an increase in tillable area of nearly 150%. The staff and residents are excited to grow their own vegetables, fruits, and herbs.
