TEACH AN ADULT TO READ!

Description: 

Tutor/teach adults to read and improve their English.  We need patient; personable tutors who are excited about helping adult learners reach their goals in literacy.  No experience necessary.  Training available.  Please note:  our program is currently meeting students virtually.

Requirements:  

  • Commitment to a minimum of 3 months, 2 hours once a week or 1 hour twice a week. 
  • English fluency and strong grammar skills.
  • We ask that all volunteers be at least 21 years of age.
Education & schools
Immigrants, Refugees or Ethnic Groups, Low-income communities, Military/Veterans

Age Minimum (with Adult): 21+, Minimum Age:21+
