Disaster Response Drivers Needed in NYC

Why our Volunteer Drivers are so Important:

Drive a Red Cross vehicle to support our life-saving Home Fire Campaign and Disaster Response teams, responding to our communities in need.As a volunteer driver, in the boroughs of NYC, you become a hero on wheels, responding to the community needs before, during, and after home fires. Every trip you make supports the people of NYC.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Driver's License Needed
  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • Min 6 months
  • A valid state Driver's License
  • Defensive Driving Class - will be provided during onboarding
  • Agree to a Driver's License Check
  • Must be comfortable driving in all boroughs of NYC

Time Commitment 6 mo.-1 yr

Emergency response & preparedness
Families, Immigrants, Refugees or Ethnic Groups, Low-income communities

Age Minimum (with Adult): 18+, Minimum Age:18+
