Illustrator / Designer needed for Child Cancer Story Coloring Activity Book

Needed: Illustrator / Designer for our Child Cancer Story Coloring Activity Book. We would appreciate the skills with Amazon setup. 

This book shares the true story of Elana—a teen cancer survivor and singer—who turned her pain into a mission to help children with cancer. We’re seeking a thoughtful expert who will handle this deeply personal project with care and sensitivity.

The book was previously illustrated/ designed this book, but it needs to be redone or done from scratch. 

PROJECT DETAILS:

  • Deadline: January 2026 (to bring to our summer camp)
  • Purpose: To comfort and inspire kids with cancer during long hospital stays. The book will be donated to them. 
  • Audience: Children (ages 4-16) and anyone needing encouragement
  • Style: Warm, engaging, with a clear reading flow (not overly busy)
  • Specs: 8.5” x 11” / 21.59cm x 27.94cm. | 30 pages [A few pages are colored, and not every page includes illustrations.]
  • Language:  English text

We are incredibly proud of  Elana Koenig, teen cancer survivor for being honored as the Youngest Rad Human on the several times Grammy Award Winning The Kelly Clarkson Show on July 23rd, 2024. Founded in 2020 by an 11-year-old (now teen) cancer survivor, Elana Koenig, with just $900 from her piggy bank, Koenig Childhood Cancer Foundation (KCCF) offers vital financial and emotional support to children battling cancer. In this short span, Elana and KCCF volunteers have raised more than $2M, aiding 3,600 families by covering medical costs, hospital visits, and special moment celebrations. 65,000 gift /care bags have been delivered to hospitalized children fighting cancer.
