Health People is a community health organization based in the South Bronx. We run peer-led programs that help people prevent and manage chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and more. Our mission is to empower people with knowledge, support, and tools to lead healthier lives.
We're looking for caring, motivated volunteers to join us in serving our community.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Workshop Support
Help set up and assist with health workshops led by our trained peer educators.
Community Outreach
Share information and resources about our free health programs at local events and in the community.
Office & Program Help
Assist with tasks like data entry, phone calls, organizing materials, or scheduling appointments.
Social Media & Communications
Support our outreach by creating posts, taking photos, or helping update our website and social channels.
Event Volunteers
Help run health fairs, fundraising events, or other special community activities.
