V-ELMS' mission is to create a supportive environment that strengthens underserved students' educational acumen to close the achievement gap, bridge the digital divide and promote social capital. Once mentees are assessed, their 'multiple intelligences' identified and are teamed up with caring mentors with the same or similar multiple intelligences; the barriers to success previously experienced by the mentees are erased allowing them to achieve their desired goals.
