Founded in 2015, UA3 is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to make a positive impact and lasting improvements in the underserved segments of our communities through youth empowerment, education, promotion of health and mental health, to support the creation of socio-economic opportunities, and to channel needed resources for the betterment of those in need. UA3 strives to accomplish our goals through partnerships with public and private sectors, educational institutions, and community social and service organizations. When COVID hit, UA3 started the Community First Food Pantry in April 2020 and since then, our pantry has quickly expanded its scope of service and has been delivering food and essential PPEs to NYCHA residences, senior homes, and tenements in Manhattan, to local food pantries in Harlem and Brooklyn, and made available, food packages to shelters for domestic violence survivors as well as other non-profit organizations.
