Administrative Volunteer Needed!
Services for the UnderServed's Brooklyn Clubhouse provides basic necessities, skills, and trainings to people experiencing mental health challenges. It opened its doors in 1996 and currently serves 250 people. Volunteers would help with food preparation and social media advertising which would support the clubhouse both internally and externally. All supplies will be provided. This would be an on going volunteer opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal prep
- Engage with members onsite
- Assist with social media posts
- Assist with some administrative support as needed
Preferred Skills
- Media/marketing interest or experience OR food industry experience, preferred
- Experience in social services
- Experience facilitating groups and engaging adults with mental health challenges, preferred
