Food and Clothing for Unhoused and Low-income New Yorkers

Xavier Mission is a nonprofit organization addressing hunger and homelessness in NYC since 1983.

We serve thousands of New Yorkers who have been neglected by society with compassion and respect through 5 programs, providing:

  • Food, clothing, and other essentials for unhoused and low-income individuals and families through our Welcome Table soup kitchen, Customer Choice food pantry, and Clothing Room
  • Tools for survivors of trauma to achieve independence and stability through our Life Skills Empowerment Program (LSEP)
  • Eviction prevention for those facing homelessness due to a temporary setback through our Financial Assistance Program

A small but mighty organization with just 4 full-time employees, we rely on volunteers to operate our food and clothing programs. Please join us!
