Food Pantry
Broadway Community seeks volunteers to help distribute food through its food pantry and prepare meals for its soup kitchen. Working under the direction of Broadway Community’s Chef and Food Service Director, volunteers will play a central role in serving healthy, tasty, and balanced meals that will help hundreds of community members experiencing homelessness, chronic hunger, and poverty. List of tasks include but are not limited to:
- Helping to prepare produce for cooking
- Work with our Chef and other volunteers to create elements of our lunch menu.
- Clean dishes and other working areas.
- Helping to pack and distribute pantry packages to participants of our pantry program.
- Stocking shelves.
- Other duties as assigned
