Kind NYC

MISSION STATEMENT: Trauma to Triumphs, Inc. is a 100% volunteer-driven 501c3 that provides resources, services, and support, to the elderly, handicapped, and families in low-income communities.  We unite corporate sponsors, donors, volunteers, and civic leaders who work together to leverage resources and maximize services online and on the ground; empowering communities to transcend barriers of race, gender identity, and economic status. CHARITY DESCRIPTION: Trauma to Triumphs, Inc. supports communities experiencing food insecurity, a lack of basic resources, educational disadvantage, and issues that compromise mental, emotional, and social well being.  Collaboration with partner organizations reinforces the shared vision that transforms prejudice, discrimination, and division, into a culture of unity, diversity, tolerance, and respect.   WHAT WE PROVIDE:  •             Meals and healthy snacks delivered to homes •             Support for the elderly, children, and families experiencing hunger •             Academic programs, incentives, and tools for children at risk of falling behind •             Resources for individuals confronting mental health issues •             Materials and resources to confront anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and trauma. BELIEF STATEMENTS  We believe that everyone deserves basic necessities, education, & equal opportunity. We believe that the generosity of others can eradicate fear, hunger, deprivation, & loss We believe that kindness transforms the world into a better place for all. We believe that when someone is in need, we must act in solidarity. We believe, never look down on someone, unless you're helping them up. We believe every human's birthright is to be treated with dignity, equality, and respect.
