https://www.pcr.nyc/

The PCR Community Beautification Program is a dynamic six-week initiative designed to empower teenagers in Brooklyn, New York, by connecting them with local parks and urban green spaces. Participants will explore these spaces firsthand, researching their history, observing community interactions, and analyzing the social, environmental, and economic impacts on local residents. Through field visits, data collection, and discussions, youth aged 14 to 18 will develop research skills, deepen their understanding of urban spaces, and gain insights into their role in fostering vibrant, sustainable communities. This program encourages participants to see urban green spaces as vital community assets and inspires them to contribute to their preservation and improvement.
